No. “Mom Helper” is the name for the role, not a requirement. Students, retirees, care workers and parents of any kind all help on Poppynz. You must be 18 or older.
The record checks are requested through Credibled from inside the app; there is no Poppynz charge for the request. If Credibled or your province charges a processing fee, we tell you the amount before you start.
Identity and credential review is usually quick. Vulnerable Sector Checks depend on your local police service and can take from a few days to several weeks. You can build your profile while you wait.
Yes, always. You choose who to reply to and which agreements to sign. Every family you hear from has completed a safety check.
After each tracked session, at your agreed rate minus the 15% service fee, in CAD to your linked account.
Yes. Members can vouch for you to join. A referral speeds up the introduction but the same checks and admin review still apply.
